Pearland Focus Welcomes
Susie Ainsworth as
Communications Director

Pearland Focus Magazine is excited to announce the addition of Susie Ainsworth as our new Communications Director. Ainsworth owned local community magazine Pearland Insider for the past four years where she served as Editor in Chief and Communications Director. This merger will blend together the positive, hometown feel that Ainsworth brought the Pearland Insider along with the thriving innovation of Pearland Focus.

“We feel that bringing Susie on our team will be advantageous from a local perspective. She lives in Pearland, raises her family there, works there and is a vital member of the community. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with her,” said Lisa Fredrickson, Publisher.

Ainsworth is active in the Pearland Chamber of Commerce where she serves as an ambassador, a select group of business professionals who come together to build a stronger community. Ainsworth brings more than twenty years of professional experience in the communications field with her. She has worked in broadcast media at Channel 13 along with a Houston advertising agency and AIM Management Group, a mutual funds company. She’s a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Journalism.

Ainsworth will be the new “face” of Pearland Focus as she will be out in the community attending various events. Her new role will also include writing articles for Pearland Focus, providing story ideas and managing the sales team in Pearland.

Ainsworth has been married for 16 years and has three children: Amanda, 15; Jake, 11; and Garrett, 8. She has lived in Pearland for 14 years and is active at St. Helen’s Catholic Church where she teaches CCE to fourth-graders.
